A call contents recording method of a portable terminal is provided to enable call contents to be automatically recorded in a desired time slot for a user, thus the user can easily confirm the call contents later even though the user picks up the phone while sleeping or in a flurry. When a received call is connected in a portable terminal, it is checked whether the current time when the call is connected is included in a preset call contents recording time slot(S110-S140). If so, call contents are recorded(S160). When the call connection is released, the recording process of the call contents is terminated(S180). Before the call contents are recorded, a voice message indicating that the call contents are recorded is transmitted to the other party's terminal to which the call is connected. |
