A sluice gate with a flap valve is provided to discharge water effectively without additional frames by utilizing frames of the sluice gate as main support frames of the flap valve. In a sluice gate with a flap valve, a square water hole is formed on a skin plate between a horizontal beam and a vertical beam installed at the center of the sluice gate. The flap valve shapes into a square and hinges at the square water hole. Frames of the sluice gate are utilized as supports of the flap valve. The flap valve opens according to difference of water level. When the water level inside the sluice gate gets higher than the water level outside the sluice gate, the flap valve opens to discharge water through the water hole. When the water level outside the sluice gate gets higher than the water level inside the sluice gate, the flap valve closes. |
