A plasma display panel is provided to increase an aspect ratio of a first substrate by forming second barrier ribs having a width narrower than that of first barrier ribs. A first substrate(210) and a second substrate(220) are opposite to each other, and first barrier ribs are interposed between the first and second substrates to define discharge cells(230) between the substrates. First discharge electrodes(260) and second discharge electrodes(270) are interposed between the first and second substrates, and are opposite to each other towards an interior of the discharge cells. Address electrodes are disposed between the first and second substrates. Second barrier ribs(282) are disposed between the first barrier ribs and the first substrate to define the discharge cells. The second barrier rib has a width narrower than that of the first barrier rib.
