A device for supplying information about a location of an object at which an object which is provided with a passive transponder (110) is located, in which case the object is located in a reception range of at least three antennas (102) which are arranged at different antenna positions, having a receiving device (210) for obtaining its own phase information from a signal for each antenna (102), wherein the phase information indicates a phase of a signal component in an antenna signal which the passive transponder (110) has generated in reaction to localization activation, a combination device (220) for combining the phase information of the reception signals in order to obtain relative phase angles of the reception signals and a location determining device (230) for calculating the information about the location of the object from the relative phase angles.
