<p>In the case that a receiving signal selected by an antenna switching unit (130) out of a plurality of receiving signals received by a plurality of antennas is judged not to be proper, a control unit (120A) switches in due order the receiving signals selected in the antenna switching unit (130), determines the optimum receiving signal and makes the antenna switching unit (130) carry out the selection of the optimum receiving signal. On one hand, during the selection processing of the optimum receiving signal, a decode unit (143A) estimates a decode result, which could be obtained if a decode data DMD with respect to the optimum receiving signal were carried out, in accordance with a recent decode result stored in a memory unit (144). Further, in accordance with the estimated result, an audio is output from an audio output unit (160) and an image is displayed on a display unit (170). As a result, the reproduction of a video or an audio carried out by receiving broadcast wave can be made with a simple structure.</p> |
