A raw water purification apparatus is provided to purify the raw water by carrying out flocculation, settling and filtration of raw water through one apparatus, purify the raw water in succession even without a cleaning operation of a filter layer, and remove suspended solids suspended in an upper part of a settling tank without using a separate removal unit. A raw water purification apparatus comprises: a water tank(1) sequentially including, from a lower part, a catchment chamber(12), a filtration chamber(13) with a bottom filtration part(131), a purified water chamber(14) with a bottom drainpipe(142), and a settling chamber(15) with a bottom drainpipe(155); a mixing chamber(2) which is formed in the center of the catchment chamber and the filtration chamber, into which raw water mixed with a flocculant flows through a raw water inflow pipe(21), and which supplies raw water containing flocculated alien substances into the settling chamber through a first ascension pipe(24); a flotation system(3) which is formed in the center of the settling chamber such that supernatant of the settling chamber is collected in a supernatant collecting unit(151) and supplied to the lower part through a first inflow pipe(4), and which has circumferential space parts(153,32) formed between an inner side pipe(22) and an inner upper circumference thereof to collect supernatant; a plurality of second inflow pipes(5) formed between the circumferential space parts and the filtration chamber; a recovery pipe(6) formed between an upper part of the inner side pipe and the raw water inflow pipe to recover water containing suspended solids to the raw water inflow pipe; a second ascension pipe(121) for ascending water collected in the catchment chamber to the purified water chamber; and a purified water discharge pipe(141) for discharging supernatant of water filled in the purified water chamber. Further, the first inflow pipe additionally contains an air supplying pipe for flowing air having a regular pressure. |
