A composition for cultivating bean sprouts, its manufacturing method and a method cultivating bean sprouts by using the composition are provided to enhance the growth rate of sprouts and to produce bean sprouts of high quality. A composition for cultivating bean sprouts consists of 0.1 to 15 wt.% of sulfur, 0.1 to 15 wt.% of calcium oxide and 70 to 99.8 wt.% of water. The manufacturing method of the composition comprises dissolving 0.1 to 15 wt.% of sulfur and 0.1 to 15 wt.% of calcium oxide in 70 to 99.8 wt.% of water by heating for 2~3 days to keep the heat of dissolution generated by calcium oxide at 90~200 deg.C. Therefore, the bean sprouts are cultivated by applying the composition for 5~7 days. |
