<p>A textile fabric used in a papermaking machine and a papermaking fabric are provided to increase the lifetime of the textile fabric and improve the workability of the papermaking machine through use of the papermaking fabric. A textile fabric comprises a textured sheet, which is contacted with a surface having substantially continuous vertical-directional ripples separated by valleys. The ripples are formed of several strands of warp yarns grouped with one another. The ripples are supported by several strands of weft yarns having two or more diameters. Each of the ripples has a width of 1.3-3 mm. The ripples have an occurrence frequency of approximately 2-8 ripples per centimeter, in a horizontal-vertical direction of the fabric. Further, the ripples have at least 0.8 mm of depth.</p> |
