PURPOSE: A system for transmitting an e-mail reconfirming message to a mobile communication terminal and a method therefor are provided to reconfirm a message by sending a short message to the mobile communication terminal near appointed time. CONSTITUTION: An e-mail server(30) receives an e-mail contents summary message, a message transmission request time, a mobile communication terminal telephone number of an e-mail receiver from a user terminal(1) according to a reconfirming message transmission request to a mobile communication terminal(50) of the e-mail receiver in case that an e-mail reconfirming message transmission system receives an e-mail from the user terminal(1) through a PSTN(10) or the Internet(20). The e-mail server(30) transmits the e-mail contents summary message, the message transmission request time, the mobile communication terminal telephone number of the e-mail receiver to a base station system(40). The base station system(40) transmits the e-mail contents summary message to the mobile communication terminal(50) according to information transmitted from the e-mail server(30) when the message transmission request time arrives. |
