#CMT# #/CMT# The lock has a mechanical locking device i.e. rotative latch member (2), such as circular bolt in the shape of truncated disk, including a locking receptacle (5) moving from a locking position to an unlocking position under the action of electromagnetic device that is supplied from a source of continuous voltage across an interruptor. The electromagnet device includes a stator (4) fixed with respect to an opening panel element and a rotor (3), where the rotor carries the latch member insertable in the locking receptacle integrated to the opening panel element. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Electromagnetically operated lock for locking a table of a seat of aircraft in a table housing (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The design of the lock permits to easily handle the lock for facilitating the opening of tables of the seats of aircraft by passengers in order to avoid vibrations generated by the seats, while preserving robustness of the lock.
