#CMT# #/CMT# The system has a communication unit e.g. radio station, for exchanging data between a crew on board of an aircraft and a person outside the aircraft. A reconfigurable radio management panel (1) is connected to the communication unit, and civil and military identification mode managing units e.g. transponder, by a military mission computer. The panel displays data relative to the communication unit and the managing units, and has a keyboard (7) with a function key (7a), numeric keys (7b) and page keys (7c-7f). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Communication system for being embarked on board of an aircraft (claimed) e.g. civil or military aircraft. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The single management panel displays information concerning the communication unit and information concerning managing units, and is reconfigurable so that the crew can modify the displayed information based on flight phases of the aircraft. The communication system allows the crew to rapidly receive an identification code during high density flight.
