<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to judge the distribution of parallax at a glance in reproducing motion picture data including stereoscopic image data. <P>SOLUTION: In a stereoscopic image processing apparatus 200, a data analyzing means 201 demultiplexes motion picture data inputted, a 3D display control information analyzing means 203 analyzes 3D information required to execute 3D display, and a decoding means 204 decodes the encoded image data. A display control means 205 controls a parallax information providing means 207 to determine display of a parallax information providing image, an image generating means 206 generates an image corresponding to a stereoscopic display system, and an image display means 208 displays the parallax information providing image as a graphical user interface (GUI) indicating the parallax of the motion image data superimposing the data on a stereoscopic image in displaying the parallax information providing image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
