PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secure electronic document management device. SOLUTION: In the electronic document management device which stores document information composed of image data and outputs a result obtained by applying OCR processing to the document information, to an external device, areas of which the OCR processing results are not outputted can be designated for each document information. The areas are designated by mask images provided in a form size corresponding to an image area of the document information, and OCR processing is not applied to an area to which mask images are added.
