PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the tip of an article from being caught by an insertion part, to properly store an article, and to improve efficiency in packing an article. SOLUTION: The packing box 100 in a shape of a hexahedron is formed by folding one sheetlike material and used for packing an article in. The packing box 100 includes an upper face 1, a bottom face 2, and both side faces 3 all of which define a front opening of the article. The packing box 100 further includes a front block face 4 for blocking the front opening, a rear block face 5 for blocking a rear opening, and rear flaps 7 connected to both side faces and folded toward the rear opening so as to be disposed inside the rear block face. A rear insertion part 52 is formed along the tip of the rear block face so as to be inserted between the rear open edge of the bottom face and rear flaps.
