PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid removing device more excellent in liquid removing capacity. SOLUTION: A cleaning roller 1 is equipped with a cylindrical shaft 3. A cavity 31 is formed inside the shaft 3, and holes 32 penetrating through to the outside of the shaft 3 from the cavity 31 are formed. A water guiding layer 4, a porous layer 3 and further a water guiding layer 4 are laminated in this order from the shaft 3 side (inside) towards an object side (outside) at the outside of the shaft 3. The water guiding layer 4 is an example of a liquid guiding layer, with a hydrophobic layer 4b and a hydrophilic layer 4a further laminated inside and outside, respectively.
