PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillow capable of simply changing the height of a necessary part and stably keeping a shape and height which can maintain a comfortable sleeping state, and to provide a particulate filler for the pillow which is suitable for the pillow. SOLUTION: As a particulate shape for filling the pillow, a polyhedral particle which has a triangle in any of the faces is adopted. Its material is preferably a paulownia. That is, a three-dimensional pillow P is filled with a particulate filler 1 in a cloth flexible bag 2 and, as the particulate filler 1, adopts filler comprising one or more kind of polyhedral particle selected between a regular tetrahedron, a triangular prism, and a square pyramid. Fluidity of the particulate filler 11 temporarily stops when a head is put on the pillow, holds a stable pillow shape, and the filler particles can again flow when vibration and the like is added from a horizontal direction. Thus, it is possible to change the height or shape of a part of or the whole of the pillow P into a shape and height which can maintain a comfortable sleeping state by a conscious or unconscious change of positions.
