PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thresher in which an opening at a place facing a feed chain device in the frame of the thresher is closed or opened by rotating the feed chain device around a rotation shaft, and in which it can effectively prevent cereals to be threshed, such as gains, from spilling from a space between the thresher frame and the feed chain device, when the feed chain device is placed at a closed position. SOLUTION: A lower extended face is disposed on an upstream side end wall in a thresher frame, and an upper extended face is disposed on the grain culm-carrying direction upstream side end portion of an inside cover member in the feed chain device. When the upper extended face is observed in the grain culm-carrying direction in a state that the feed chain device is placed at a closed position, the upper extended face is placed on the more grain culm-carrying direction upstream side than the lower extended face in such a state that at least one portion of the upper extended face is overlapped on the lower extended face not to form a space between the upper and lower extended faces.
