<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink which has good initial pigment dispersibility, excellent color vision and dispersion stability, to provide a dispersion used for water-based inks, and to provide an aqueous polyurethane resin used therefor. <P>SOLUTION: This aqueous polyurethane resin is characterized by reacting a polyisocyanate component containing a polyisocyanate compound (for example, 3-isocyanatomethyl-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexylisocyanate) with an active hydrogen component comprising an active hydrogen group-having fluorene skeleton-containing active hydrogen compound [for example, 9,9-bis(4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl)fluorene] having a fluorene skeleton and a hydrophilic group-containing active hydrogen compound (for example, dimethylolpropionic acid) having a hydrophilic group and an active hydrogen group. The aqueous polyurethane resin is neutralized with a neutralizing agent, dispersed in water to produce the aqueous dispersion, and then mixed with a pigment to prepare a dispersion for water-based inks, and the water-based ink. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
