<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch broadcast signals only when there is no need to continue the reception of broadcast. <P>SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiver receives a first broadcast signal using a large number of segments and a second signal using a small number of segments out of digital broadcast signals using a plurality of segments. To do so, a display control section 110 outputs broadcast of any one receivable among the first and second broadcast signals to a display 113. When the first broadcast signal changes to a receivable state during receiving the second broadcast signal, the display control section 110 determines whether or not it is necessary to continue reception of the second broadcast signal, and if determining that there is no need to continue the reception of the second broadcast signal, the section 110 outputs the broadcast of the first broadcast signal to the display 113. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
