<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrode material for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries having a stable plateau near 2.5 V in a Li potential reference in charging and having improved load characteristics, and to provide a nonaqueous secondary battery using the electrode material. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode material for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries is expressed by Li<SB>x</SB>Ti<SB>2</SB>(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>3</SB>, where 1<x≤1.3. In the electrode material, for example a raw material containing Li, a raw material containing Ti, and a raw material containing P are mixed to be Li:Ti:P=y:2:3 (1<y≤1.4) in the molar ratio of Li, TI and P, and the mixture is baked in a nonoxidizing atmosphere. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
