<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily determine the size of a bone cutter so that the cutter teeth stability and toughness can be secured during the use of the cutter with its manufacture costs remaining inexpensive, concerning the process of forming a cutter teeth section with a prescribed cutter shaft outer diameter on the leading end surface of the tubular cutter shaft of the bone cutter. <P>SOLUTION: The cutter teeth cyclic length determining process comprises the step of determining the outer circumferential length U of a cutter shaft tube, the step of confirming the desirable average tooth height Hgew of a cutter teeth section 12, the step of confirming the desirable teeth cyclic length LZ' of the cutter teeth section 12 using the desirable tooth height Hgew and the parameters of teeth cyclic pattern, the step of dividing the tube outer circumferential length U by the desirable teeth cyclic length LZ, the step of rounding the dividing result into an even value Qz, and the step of obtaining the teeth cyclic length LZ by dividing the tube outer circumferential length by the value Qz. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
