<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document support system which supports users other than a document creator to understand words etc. without misunderstanding and to view annotations therefor on a monitor screen or on a printout, and adds annotations without conversion of adding the annotation to original sentences, while keeping original expressions as they are. <P>SOLUTION: The document support system includes: an analysis part 6 for analyzing words included in sentences of an acquired document file; an extraction part 7 for extracting words to be annotated when they are included in words analyzed by the analysis part 6; a retrieval part 9 for calling annotations corresponding to the words to be annotated, which are extracted by the extraction part 7, from a dictionary database 8 prestored with the annotations; and a writing part 10 for generating an annotated document file by adding the annotation called by the retrieval part 9 to the document by using a document format of the document file analyzed by the analysis part 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
