PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a compatibility between power performance and fuel consumption performance in an automatic transmission mounted vehicle equipped with a torque converter. SOLUTION: The automatic transmission mounted vehicle includes two torque converters (11, 12) having different transmission torque capacities and switches respective torque converters (11, 12) into a converter state and a lock-up state on the basis of a vehicle drive condition.
