PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment with a maintenance cover which prevents loss of parts and omitting of cover closing. SOLUTION: The communication equipment with a maintenance cover has a housing 5, maintenance electronic components 10-1, 2 provided to the inside of the housing and exposed from a hole provided to the housing for maintenance, a planar cover 6 which is provided outside the housing and which has a plurality of substantially parallel long holes and windows and covers the maintenance electronic components and a plurality of fixing means 7-1, 2 which are fixed to the housing passing through each of the long holes and hold the cover slidably in a longitudinal direction of the long hole. The housing is provided with a notation indicating an opening direction of the cover which is exposed from the window when the cover covers the maintenance electronic component. A rear of the cover is provided with a notation which indicates a closing direction of the cover which is exposed by overhanging from the housing when the maintenance electronic component is exposed from the window of the cover.
