<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of removing noise while maintaining compatibility between a hologram recording device and a hologram recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The hologram reproducing apparatus is provided with: an image sensor 25 with two-dimensionally arranged pixels receiving diffraction light generated by irradiating a hologram recording medium 50 with reference light; and a control section 60 processing an electric signal from the image sensor 25 and reproducing recorded data. The control section 60 detects the electric signal from the image sensor 25 obtained by irradiating the header region in the hologram recording medium 50 with the reference light, detects a reproduction signal from the image sensor 25 obtained by irradiating the region in which a hologram is formed in the hologram recording medium 50 with reference light, subtracts the electric signal from the reproduction signal, so as to obtain a production signal after the reduction of noise, and reproduces recorded data from the reproduction signal after the reduction of noise, thus exhibits the reduction effect of noise. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
