PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine which can provide a new performance mode of decorative pattern capable of increasing exciting feelings for variation of the decorative pattern. SOLUTION: A performance decision means selects a variable display mode from a normal variable display mode for executing variable display with all kinds of decorative patterns prepared beforehand as candidates for variable display and a thinned-out variation display mode for executing thinned-out variable display which is variable display with a part of the all kinds of decorative patterns prepared beforehand as candidates for variable display, prior to the start of variation. When the thinned-out variation display mode is selected, a performance display control means 134 executes the thinned-out variation display with a thinned-out pattern set 204 in at least one region of a plurality of pattern display regions (a left region 198a, a right region 198b, and a center region 198c) from when a decorative pattern 190 is started to vary.
