PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-structured efficient light source device capable of emitting high quality light having accurate and stable properties for inspecting a color imaging element. SOLUTION: The light source device is provided with a plurality of LEDs 1 housed in a casing 11 for emitting light rays of mutually different colors, multiple first main optical fibers 2 connected to the respective LEDs 1 for transmitting respective color light rays to a light mixing part 3 before mixing, a plurality of sub optical fibers 6 connected to the respective LEDs 1 along with the first main optical fibers 2 for receiving introduced respective color light rays leaking in the casing 11 before mixing, light receiving elements 7 individually detecting intensity of light rays led from the respective sub optical fibers 6, and supply power control parts 8 individually controlling supply power to the respective LEDs 1 so that intensity of light corresponding to each of the LEDs 1 detected by the light receiving elements 7 becomes each of previously decided target values.
