PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can solve a problem of an EMI caused by electromagnetic waves released from a front face of a solid-state imaging element without providing an electromagnetic shield layer having a light transmission on a light receiving face, etc. of the solid-state imaging element. SOLUTION: A shield plate 106 is mounted to a lens holder 60 to which a CCD 100 is attached, and the electromagnetic waves released from the front face except for a light receiving face of the CCD 100 are shielded by this shield plate 106. Further, an outer surface of a focus lens guide cylinder 70 installed so as to surround a front side of the CCD 100 is covered with a shield member 72, and a radiation of the electromagnetic waves released from the light receiving face of the CCD 100 to an outer peripheral direction is shielded by the shield member 72, so that a directivity is contained in an optical axis direction of a photographing lens.
