PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display system, an information display method and an information display program that enable a user to determine the propriety of displayed documents. SOLUTION: The information display system 100 displays recommended documents obtained by retrieving documents in a document DB 52 of a server 50 on a display 22 of a client 10. The client 10 acquires document identification information including the types of the documents and the search methods used to search the documents, and displays images showing the recommended documents on the display 22 according to the types and search methods.
