PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furnace body cooling apparatus in a blast furnace with which the deterioration of working atmosphere is not brought about and not only the cooling of a furnace bottom side wall part can be obtained but also, the cooling efficiency is excellent, and the working of the apparatus is easily performed. SOLUTION: This furnace body cooling apparatus in the blast furnace is constituted of: a cast-iron-made stave cooler as the cooling apparatus from the shaft parts A, B of the blast furnace to a tuyere part C in the blast furnace; a steel-made stave cooler as the cooling apparatus for cooling-apparatus of the furnace bottom side wall part D below the tuyere; a steel-made cooling pipe arranged between the furnace wall refractory brick and the iron shell and a monolithic refractory material filled up between the iron shell and the furnace wall refractory brick so as to surround this cooling pipe; and a closed type water-cooling jacket for cooling apparatus of the furnace bottom side wall part below the tuyere.
