PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strapping machine which can attach a tag having fastening sections for fastening tying tools at two locations. SOLUTION: This strapping machine 2A has a tag engaging claw 30a on which a recessed section formed on the tag 1A is fitted. In this case, the tag 1A has a fastening hole which fastens the tying tool 13 which is wound on a bag 14 and tied at two locations. At the same time, the strapping machine 2A is equipped with a curl guide 30 and a butting guide 31. In this case, the curl guide 30 is positioned to the fastening hole of the tag 1A, and has a tying tool passage 30c in which the tying tool is passed. The butting guide 31 has a guide block 31a on which a guide groove which is connected with the tie passage 30c when the curl guide 30 abuts on it is formed. The tying tool 13 is passed through the fastening holes at two locations of the tag 1A which have been positioned by the curl guide 30 having been abutted by the butting guide 31, and the tying tool 13 which has been passed through the fastening holes at two locations of the tag 1A is formed. By performing strapping by twisting the formed tying tool 13, the tag 1A is attached to the bag 14 by passing the tying tool 13 through the fastening holes at two locations of the tag 1A.
