PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine having a novel entertainment property using a symbol drag-and-drop operation; and its play method. SOLUTION: When the number of bet tokens is determined and a game is started, video reels 23-27 start to rotate respectively and, after a lapse of a prescribed time, 15 symbols 46 in total are rearranged on a symbol display area. In especially when "RED7" and "BLUE7" are included in the rearranged symbols, a player drags and drops the arranged symbols of "RED7" and "BLUE7" near a crater of a volcano 28, or a performance character, to output a sound effect equivalent to the eruption sound of the volcano 28.
