<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack for a packaging tray which is also used for a plurality of kinds of packaging trays. <P>SOLUTION: In the rack for the packaging tray, a plurality of rectangular tray fitting windows for fitting packaging trays with flanges are formed by sashes provided in a rectangular outer frame in a plane, and upward stays and downward stays are projected on upper and lower surfaces of the outer frame and the sashes turned alternatively opposite. A projection for locking the flange of the tray is formed on the outer frame and the sash on the short side of the window, and/or a sway-stopping projection abutted on the side face of the packaging tray is formed on the outer frame and the sash on the long side of the window. A recess for allowing the packaging tray to be easily taken out by hooking a finger thereto is formed on the outer surface of the outer frame facing the long side of the window.
