<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently reuse print setting set in the past even in an environment where a plurality of image formation apparatuses are selectively used. <P>SOLUTION: For each document, machine type information of the image formation apparatus used for printing, a comment written by a user related to print setting, and at least one of driver setting, application setting and print data are associated with each other to build a database, and stored (S10-S29). In using the registered print setting, the corresponding information as this time processing object is retrieved from the registered information, and the corresponding information is listed in associated with the machine type information of the image formation apparatus to receive user's selection (S30-S38). The user selects a desired one from the presented information (S40). If alteration of setting is needed, alteration is accepted (S42-YES, S44).
