<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily adjust focusing, either in autofocus or manual focus adjustment. <P>SOLUTION: The lens device is equipped with a first focus ring 1, capable of moving between a first position and a second position on an optical axis. The device is equipped with a first rotational angle detection part for detecting the rotational amount of the first focus ring 1 at the first position, a second focus ring 2 coupled with the first focus ring 1, when the first focus ring 1 exists at a second position, and a second rotational angle detection part for detecting the rotational amount of the second focus ring 2. Furthermore, when the first focus ring 1 exists at the first position, a focus lens is driven on the basis of the rotational amount detected by the first rotational angle detection part; and when the focus ring 1 exists at the second position, the focus lens is driven on the basis of the rotational amount detected by the second rotational angle detection part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
