摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active mirror structure capable of uniformly introducing excitation light even for a large-area laser medium. SOLUTION: The active mirror structure is provided with a thin plate-like laser medium 2 having a dichroic mirror surface formed on a rear surface 21 and used for reflecting a laser beam 5 to be amplified and transmitting excitation light 6, a heat sink 3 provided so as to closely contact with the rear surface of the laser medium 2, and a laser device 4 for generating the excitation light 6. In the structure, the laser device 4 is formed of a laser diode stack (LD stack) provided with a large number of distributed light-emitting portions each emitting the excitation light 6 are distributed, the LD stack 4 is disposed closely contacting with the rear surface of the heat sink 3, optical fibers 31 penetrating by the heat sink 3 are buried in the heat sink 3 at positions corresponding to the light-emitting portions, so that the excitation light 6 emitted from each of the optical fibers 31 is incident into the laser medium 2 and at least a part of the excitation light 6 has a directional angle for full reflection on the surface of the laser medium 2.
