PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer film with excellent uniformity in a film thickness, high reliability without defects of pinholes or cracks, as to one with a large film thickness and film area, and capable of efficiently forming a dielectric layer of a plasma display panel with excellent surface smoothness. SOLUTION: The transfer film for forming a dielectric layer for a plasma display panel has a film-forming material layer containing glass powder, and binding resin made of a copolymer of two or more kinds of (metha)acrylate compound expressed in formula (I) (in the formula, R1denotes a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and R2denotes a monovalent organic group.) or a copolymer of (metha)acrylate compound expressed in formula (I) and another copolymeric monomer, formed on a supporting film.
