PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model animal which can be used for researching auotphagy and for screening medicines for treating diseases involving autophagy. SOLUTION: A transgenic non-human animal which expresses, in the whole body, a modified GABARAP, or a modified GATE16 prepared by binding GFP tag to the amino terminal of GABARAP or GATE16, or its progeny is provided.
