Pipes containing nanoclays and method for their manufacture

A pipe or comprising a melt-mixed blend of polyamide and incompatible polyolefin and a compatibilizing agent where the polyamide exists as a discontinuous phase that is dispersed in a polyolefin matrix and wherein nanoclay is exfoliated in the polyamide phase.
