<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that sheet exchange is a very hard work for a caregiver and he/she often suffers from lumbago or thecitis or the like since the caregiver moves a patient while a method of moving the patient to the end of a bed and exchanging a sheet on halves is used in many care facilities. <P>SOLUTION: The body of a patient is divided into three parts of a head part, a body part and a leg part roughly, the sheet at the head part and the leg part can be easily drawn and spread since the head part and the leg part can be lifted with one hand or both, but the body part can not be lifted because it is heavy and it is difficult to exchange the sheet. By slightly lifting one side of the body part, clamping the sheet with a belt-like plate constituted of rotatable rollers, piling up a pair of upper and lower plates and drawing the sheet, the rollers are rotated in opposite directions at the upper and lower parts, the plate and the sheet are moved between the patient and a mat, and the old sheet is pulled out.
