<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyless entry device which can positively prevent portable machines from being confined in a trunk. <P>SOLUTION: The keyless entry device is formed of: an in-vehicle device 2 which is arranged in a vehicle with a trunk door, and provided with a control section 10; and the plurality of portable machines 5 for radio-communicating to and from the in-vehicle device. The control section detects the number of the portable machines present in the vehicle when locking/unlocking control of a door is carried out based on a locking signal from the portable machine to store the number in a memory 11 as a prior number, and stores an identification sign of the portable machine which has transmitted the locking signal, in the memory. Thereafter when the trunk door is closed, the control section detects the number of the portable machines present in the vehicle to store a detection result as a determined number, and stores an identification sign of the portable machine present in the vehicle is stored. If the determined number is larger than the prior number or the prior number is equal to the determined number and at the same time the portable machine which has transmitted the locking signal is present in the vehicle, the trunk door is controlled to be opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
