PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus preventing the decline of a volume rate while improving the image quality of a desired region. SOLUTION: A transmission/reception part 3 scans a diagnostic part by the ultrasonic beam while making the scanning line density of the transmission of ultrasonic beams to a region of interest set to the diagnostic part higher than the scanning line density of the transmission of the ultrasonic beams to a region other than the region of interest, under control of a control part 8. Further, the transmission/reception part 3 performs parallel and simultaneous reception for the region other than the region of interest.
