PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model animal which can be used for researching auotphagy and for screening medicines for treating diseases involving autophagy. SOLUTION: A transgenic non-human animal which expresses in the whole body a modified LC3, prepared by binding polyhistidine tag and Flag tag to the amino terminal of LC3, or its progeny is provided.
