PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alignment device of a liquid jet head which easily positions alignment marks with respect to reference marks. SOLUTION: The liquid jet head alignment device aligns first and second alignment marks 22a and 22b with first reference marks 401a and 401b respectively by moving an inkjet recording head 220 in the X and Y directions in a plane parallel with a mask 410 having first and second reference marks 401a and 401b with which first and second alignment marks 22a and 22b are aligned, chucks 610a and 610b supporting the inkjet head 220 and a nozzle plate 20 through chucks 610a and 610b. The device also aligns the second alignment mark 22b with the second reference mark 401b by rotating the inkjet recording head 220 around an axis passing through the center of the first reference mark 401a and intersecting the plane at right angles through the chucks 610a and 610b.
