<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a LED lamp capable of dispersing phosphors in a desired state in a sealing resin. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises a step to combine a plurality of phosphor particles with an uncured polymer resin in which the viscosity of resin can be controlled in response to a temperature whereby a substantively uniform suspension of phosphor particles is formed in the resin. Next, the uncured resin is disposed in a predetermined position adjacent to a LED chip, the viscosity of resin descends by increasing the temperature of the resin, and the temperature is lower than a temperature for inproperly rapidly curing the resin. Phosphor particles are settled out to a desire position for LED chip in the resin having lowered viscosity, and then the resin is heated to a temperature at which the resin is cured and becomes solid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
