<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user-friendly display in a printing system, a printing method, a control device and a program. <P>SOLUTION: The printing system comprises a printer that can be mounted with a plurality of ink cartridges out of which at least two ink cartridges are switched to use at least one of them for printing; a display device; and the control device for controlling the printer and the display device. The control device acquires ink residual quantity information showing the ink residual quantities of the plurality of ink cartridges respectively from the printer, displays the ink residual quantities of the plurality of ink cartridges used for printing based on the ink residual quantity information, and displays the ink residual quantities differently from the display of the ink residual quantities of the plurality of ink cartridges used for printing, also on the ink cartridges not used for the printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
