<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer having insulating performance conforming to safety standards of every country, and enabling to easily widely adjust the number of winding rates. <P>SOLUTION: This transformer includes a first coil block formed by winding a strip conductor having at least insulated one surface around a bobbin; one side obtained by dividing a second coil consisting of a plurality of second coil blocks formed by laminating a base coil as a thin plate conductor and an insulating paper; the other side of the divided second coil; a pair of cores having intermediate legs; and a casing for aligning positions of insertion holes each having a shape corresponding to the intermediate legs and provided for each of a finished body of the one side of the second coil, a finished body of the first coil block and a finished body of the other side of the second coil, and holding a stack of the finished bodies.
