<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish an image data communication apparatus in which an image to pay attention can be easily matched between a sender and a recipient. <P>SOLUTION: A communication apparatus comprises an image input means and an image display means and transmits/receives image data via a communication line. The communication apparatus includes an input means for designating an input image input by the image input means, a number setting means for making a number corresponding to transmission data of the designated input image, and a display control means for displaying, on the image display means, the designated input image together with the relevant number. Sharpness of an edge within the input image input by the image input means is measured and during a period in which the designation due to the input means is maintained, an input image having sharpness higher than that of an image transmitted the last time within the relevant period is transmitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
