PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device capable of inspecting whether the liquid crystal quantity in a liquid crystal panel is a proper quantity after liquid crystal is injected between substrates. SOLUTION: The inspection device for liquid crystal quantity in liquid crystal panel includes: a pressing means which applies a driving voltage to the liquid crystal panel having the liquid crystal injected between the substrates and presses the surface of the liquid crystal panel while performing illumination from the rear surface side; a photographing means which photographs the surface of the liquid crystal panel pressed by the pressing means; an image processing means which captures an image photographed by the photographing means, defines a region in which the brightness changed from the brightness of the captured image by the pressing of the pressing means exceeds a prescribed threshold as a brightness change region and performs binarization of the region and another region; and a measurement means which measures the longest distance of the brightness change region from the center point pressed by the pressing means or an area of the brightness change region in the image formed by the image processing means.
