PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment capable of surely confirming information of a designated transmission party before starting a transmission operation and actually performing transmission to the designated transmission party. SOLUTION: The communication equipment is provided with: an opposite party designating means for designating a communication party; a communication start instructing means for instructing a communication start; a communicating means for receiving an instruction by the communication start instructing means and performing communication; and a display means for displaying various information on equipment states and operation content, and the communication equipment also has a control means for controlling communication. The control means causes a displaying means to display the entire information on the communication party designated by the opposite party designating means as the opposite party confirmation image before actually performing communication by the communicating means, and performs control to receive an instruction of a communication start by the communication start instructing means after performing confirmation processing about the entire information.
